Glide to the top of Ranger Peak in the Franklin Mountains State Park in an airborne Swiss gondola. The TramWay ride is a memorable experience offering a vista of the vastness and stark beauty of the southwest. The station at the top provides accessible ramps and paved grounds leading into an observation deck with a 360 degree view.

Scenic Drive, is a 2-mile long mountainside roadway that offers a picture-perfect view of El Paso and Juárez. At night, it showcases the never-ending lights of the two sister cities and two different countries. Topping off at 4,222 feet above sea level, the 86-year-old El Paso landmark that's carved into the Franklin Mountains was voted the Best Place to Show Off the Area to Out-of-Town Visitors in the El Paso Times' Best of the Border contest.

The El Paso Museum of History exists for the educational benefit of the community and visitors. It promotes the rich multicultural and multinational history of the border region known as The Pass of the North. Through exhibits and programs, the Museum involves diverse audiences in exploring varieties of human experience and encourages individuals to explore the past and reflect on their own place in history. Free. However, special exhibits are subject to entry fees.

Founded in 1959, the El Paso Museum of Art (EPMA) is a major cultural and educational resource for West Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico. The Museum houses a permanent collection of over 5,000 works of art. In addition to displaying works from its holdings, the Museum offers a diverse schedule of temporary exhibitions, films, lectures, concerts, and other educational programs to the general public.

The 35-acre El Paso Zoo serves as a regional center for family fun, education and conservation efforts for wildlife and habitats. World renowned for rock climbing, Hueco Tanks State Historic Site is also known for its many American Indian rock paintings and unique geology. Pictograph tours are offered, as well as hiking, picnicking, climbing and camping opportunities. To preserve its priceless historical treasures, the Park admits limited numbers of visitors.
