The Katharine

We re-envisioned the classics into fabulous new staples. Like fried chicken & waffle with maple-bourbon sauce and ancho butter, like sweet potato pancakes with walnut-sorghum butter, and country fried steak served with red eye gravy and grits. Selections from the raw bar are also available, because it's never too early for freshly shucked oysters.

For very special occasions, we offer private dining for parties of ten. Set in a secluded corner, the space adapts for privacy or for socializing. Larger groups can rent The Katharine fully or partially, along with the adjacent Cardinal Hotel’s boardroom and event spaces. No matter the size, or cause for gathering, we’ll customize a perfect time.

The bustling bar features local beer selections, an extensive wine list, and craft cocktails as charismatic companions to flavorful dishes and lively conversation. Elegant, open interiors in a split-level space offer pockets of intimacy that spill onto a seasonal patio for sharing a leisurely drink with yourself or your pooch as your best company.
