It is probably the Rome's spot most linked to our hotel, as via Veneto is deeply connected to La Dolce Vita, and Trevi Fountain is where the most iconic scene of the movie takes place. You can enjoy the fountain at its best when empty. Go there at dawn, if you are not scared by an early wake up, and the visit will be beyond any expectation.
