New hotel with contemporary designs and superb facilities. First time staying in this IHG Brand Hualuxe. I have to say a very good experience overall.

Overall pretty decent hotel, staffs are super helpful and nice, the location of the hotel is a bit strange to me, pretty hard for DiDi driver to locate the main entrance lol, but overall a decent hotel, will consider re-staying here during my next trip to Shenzhen!!

the stay was very snooth and comforting. location is great with lots delicious local food nearby. service level is just about right. I like the executive lounge, the staff was very sweet to offer me what I needed.

Positive:
1) Very nice design - but very impractical
2) Nice breakfast restaurant - but food quality is below street food outside
Negative:
1) My reservation from the hotel confirmation was for THREE ADULTS and I specifically asked an extra rollaway bed (there was no mention of any additional charge as well so I assume all was well and no problem). However, when I checked in , I was told there is no space available for an extra bed in the room. Why would a hotel accept a reservation for three adults and when I checked in, I was told there is no space for the third person? Besides, the twin bed was so small it could hardly sleep one person! The third adult in our party had to sleep at the sofa with legs dangling and he could hardly sleep at all because the hotel made a reservation mistake!
2) There is no signage leading to the drop off point of the hotel - TWICE - when I arrived, the Didi driver was confused and I had to asked him to figure out the drop off point after turning round and round of the property. Second time was worse - the Didi driver could not enter the long drive way to the hotel lobby and I had to DRAG MY LUGGAGE TO THE MAIN ROAD (with the hotel staff looking at us not offering helps) as there is NO SIGNAGE AS TO HOW TO GO TO THE DROP OFF POINT!
3) At the check in counters, there was absolutely no seating for my family members to wait - they had to stand while waiting for me to check in and check out. There was a seating but it was meant for "VIP ONLY". And at the point of my checking in and out , there was no other people and your staff REFUSED TO LET MY FAMILY SIT - AS THE SEATS WERE RESERVED FOR VIP ONLY! What kind of hotel is this? You provide space for seating for VIP that are non existent? Meanwhile a real customer was treated badly and had to stand while waiting for check in and check out?
4) Food at breakfast was below par - you may do better hiring chefs from street food store to cook - eg. the buns texture was bad, vegetables were soggy, bread was left there for at least a day as they were dry and hard!
5) Bedroom carpets are dirty and had dust everywhere, you need to make sure your housekeeping vacuum the carpets properly - considering this is a new hotel, the upkeep is very poor

A month ago I stayed at this hotel, and commented on illogically restrictive reduced lounge benefits at happy hour, and mediocre breakfast. This time food choice at happy hour has relaxed a bit (albeit still unreasonable), and breakfast has added a couple of distinctive items. Unlike those with lounge benefits as IHG reward, paying guests should wait until the lounge is open before paying the lounge access room rate. But for general guests, the hotel is definitely worth a stay. It is elegant without being gaudy or vulgar, and rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable.

The hotel is new and fabulous, the design is great, beats 95% of the hotels. And is definitely worth the money.
but the noise control is bad. The breakfast is also bad. In the morning it is always crowded, I always skip breakfast and eat outside. The lady at the breakfast also ignored me, makes me don’t even want to go there at all
They don’t open the lounge and give noodles instead. But the noodles are not tasty.
Generally a good hotel, just don’t expect good food.

It is a big task to imporove the food temperatureof hot stuff of breakfast. Items in menu for common dishes are rare could be selected. Warm water swimming pool is a good measures to attract tourist. I wonder why there is no heating selection for temperature control inside hotel room.
Great stay, great staff, great food

I was there for a short trip. The hotel is located not far from the airport. There's no attraction or major scenery nearby from what I saw.
Except for this, everything was spot on. It's a new hotel and the facilities are all new and clean. I could almost smell a scent of painting in my room but it's ok. People allergic to might wait for a few months before booking there.
The breakfast was superb. There were so many choices. Food was fresh. It's one of the best buffet I had in China.
I used the swimming pool. It opens at 6:00 AM which is great for an early start. I was alone at 7AM for my one hour session.
The bed was very comfy. I like the fact there was not one but two small sofas in the room adjacent to the bed. I can clearly see myself with my two little daughters in one of these rooms (11th floor).
Check-in, check-out was a bliss. The decoration inside the lobby was modern and conceptual art.
The only downside was that there was no in-room dining menu in the room. I asked the reception and they told me they were not printed yet. As I arrived very late the first night, I ordered a delivery and I was disappointed that they didn't use the delivery robot that sits next to the lift. You have to go downstairs to pick it up for now.
Overall, a great experience. Will definitely stay there during my next trip.
An Impressive New Hotel

I'm thrilled about the newly opened Hualuxe in Shenzhen! The experience has been truly amazing. Although the lounge isn't open yet, the afternoon tea and happy hour more than make up for it—they're absolutely satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the noodles. The front desk staff, Haiyu, has been incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to all IHG Club members.
