Situated at the junction of three rivers, the Old Bund of Ningbo has been a prosperous business port since the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) Dynasties and was developed into a British treaty port in 1844 after the First Opium War. Ningbo's Old Bund is one of China's earliest bunds, where British and Dutch traders used to live and is allegedly twenty years older than the one in Shanghai.

The main building adopts the design of a double-layer shell, and the outline is on the bank of the Yongjiang River, like an "art ark" stationed in the port city.

The route covers the bustling Sanjiangkou Golden Waterway in Ningbo, allowing passengers to enjoy various iconic buildings along the way.

The only remaining ruins of the ancient city tower in Ningbo. Gulou Pedestrian Street is a melting pot of culture and commerce, integrating shopping and leisure, and has become one of the amusement resorts in Ningbo.

Alternatively called Baoshu House and constructed around 1561 of the Ming, it was the place where Fan Qin stored his book collection and the oldest existing private library in China. Books are most vulnerable to fire, he said, but water can suppress fire. Thus the name “Tianyi” hints at the fact that water curbs fire. He also wedged the idea into the structure of the library, where one large room constitutes the upper floor, whereas downstairs there are six chambers.

Located outside the south gate of the ancient city, it used to be the "Three Cities of South Gate" in the old Ningbo, and is one of the eight historical districts in Ningbo.

The Cultural and Creative Port Lounge was formerly the Ningbo Freight North Station and serves as one of the design inspirations for the Hotel Indigo Ningbo Riverside.
