Listed as a historic monument in 1948, nowadays, the Grimaldi Castle houses an exceptional museum and also hosts temporary exhibitions of contemporary art.

The Renoir Museum is located on a magnificent estate, surrounded by olive and citrus trees, overlooking the town of Cagnes sur Mer, with a splendid panoramic view of the French Riviera. With its collections, original paintings, sculptures, furniture and studio... the Renoir Museum offers visitors the chance to experience the site as Auguste Renoir knew it during the last 12 years of his life.
