Airborne Airpark is a public-use airport located two nautical miles (3.7 km) southeast of the central business district of Wilmington, a city in Clinton County, Ohio, United States. While DHL had privately owned the property while operating from the facility, the company agreed to donate the property to the Clinton County Port Authority. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. museum exhibits have special hours. The 8th Air Force Control Tower and Nissen Hut, located in the Air Park, are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The Presidential and R&D Galleries are open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission to the museum is FREE. There is a charge for the IMAX Theatre.
