Mr. Carter’s will provided for the establishment of a museum in Fort Worth devoted to American art. As a youth, I was denied the advantages which go with the possession of money,” he stated in the will. The Water Gardens were designed by noted New York architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee and was dedicated to the City of Fort Worth by the Amon G. Carter Foundation. The park is frequently billed as a cooling oasis in the concrete jungle of downtown. Its focal points are three pools of water; the quiet meditation pool, the aerating pool which feature multiple fountains and the active pool which has water cascading 38 feet down terraces and steps into a small pool at the bottom.

Texas Motor Speedway's construction began in 1995. The original configuration called for an unusual dual banking system that had 24 degrees of banking for stock cars and 8 degrees for open wheel cars. It's an amazing experience for the enitre family.

The Will Rogers Memorial Center is a multi-purpose entertainment complex under 45 acres of roof, spread over 85 acres in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District. The Will Rogers Coliseum was erected along with the auditorium and Landmark Pioneer Tower in 1936, the year of the Texas Centennial. Largest of all the buildings, the coliseum was the first domed structure of its kind in the world.
