Craters of the Moon National Monument

Between 15,000 and 2,000 years ago, the Craters of the Moon Lava Field formed during eight major eruptive periods. During this time the Craters of the Moon lava field grew to cover 618 square miles. The Wapi and Kings Bowl lava fields formed contemporaneously about 2,200 years ago.

Dierkes Lake

Located just upstream from the Shoshone Falls, Dierke's Lake is a popular cliff jumping spot for the locals. Cool off in the summer time in the lake or enjoy a nice picnic with your family.

LDS Temple

This temple was dedicated on August 16, 2008. The 9.1 acres of land that the temple now sits on was formerly the Candleridge Golf Course.

Perrine Bridge

Opened in 1976, this 4 lane bridge connects Twin Falls county with Jerome county. The bridge is 1,500 feet long and sits 486 feet above the Snake River. This is the only bridge in the United States that you can B.A.S.E. jump all year round without a permit.

Pomerelle Ski Resort

Pomerelle Ski Resort is located in the Sawtooth National Forest and sits 8,000 feet above sea level. This is one of the most popular places to ski and snowboard in Southern Idaho. Pomerelle also hosts events through out the summer such as weddings and star parties.

Shoshone Falls

Nestled in the Snake River canyon, Shoshone Falls is definately a site to see. Also referred to as the "Niagra of the west," these falls drop down 212 feet, which is deeper than the Niagra Falls.

Thousand Springs State Park

Along the Snake River, in the Hagerman Valley you will find Thousand Springs Park. View the thousands of springs streaming from the Snake River Canyon and enjoy a nice picnic with your family.
