The National Identity Museum, MIN is located in the historic center of the city. There is a permanenet exhibition hall and an auditorium called Copan Virtual, resembling the Rosalila Maya temple thta will take you on a three dimensional joourney of the mayan ruins.

Its original name was surcagua which means ¨ Place of Frogs¨. Located just 11 km from the capital, this picturesque village is an inviting place where time seems to stand still. Among its attractions is the lagoon, where you can sit and have a good time with a delicious honduran coffee in a fresh ambiance.

Columbian art, colonial religious art and silver religious utencils made for exhibition in the first floor. On the second floor, you will find a permanent exhibition of Honduras most notorious artists and their work, beginning from the first decacde of the XX century till current day.
