The Stockton Ports are one of the wholesome family entertainment options in the San Joaquin Valley. Spend summer days or evenings watching the Single A affiliate of the Oakland A’s play at the beautiful Banner Island Ballpark. The ballpark is a great place for outings with friends and family, to watch some baseball, eat delicious food, and enjoy entertainment from various theme nights and other exciting events.

The Haggin Museum, an art and history museum located in Stockton, has been referred to by Sunset magazine as one of the undersung gems of California. The impressive brick building has stood in the center of Stockton lush Victory Park for 80 years, but it’s what’s on the inside that makes it worth visiting.On display in the museum’s fine art galleries are dozens of paintings by renowned 19th- and early 20th-century American and European artists, including Jean Béraud, Rosa Bonheur, William Boug.

Plan for a special treat at the Bob Hope Theatre which is listed on the National Register of Historical Places.A marble mosaic floor encompasses a 1,200 square foot space in the center of the lobby. The marble was imported from Italy and the mosaic was designed by a Canadian artist.A 1928 Robert Morton theater organ, which was last played in the Seattle Fox Theatre over 40 years ago, was restored and donated to the theatre by The Friends of the Fox.
