Danjing is the birthplace of Chinese Tianpeng peony, especially in the Song Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty.Danjingshan is the front scenic spot of Longmen Mountain, famous for its Peony culture, religious culture and Gupeng Shu culture.Peonies were planted on a large scale since the Tang Dynasty.
