The Nymphenburg Palace is a Baroque palace situated in Munich's western district Neuhausen-Nymphenburg, in Bavaria, southern Germany. A fascinating excursion for children and adults. Hellabrunn Zoo was opened in 1911 and was the first geozoo in the world. Even today, around 18,500 animals still live here in a protected landscape directly on the Isar river in Munich. Neuschwanstein Castle stands above Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southern Bavaria. The building was erected from 1869 for the Bavarian King Ludwig II as an idealized representation of a knight's castle from the Middle Ages.

The English Garden is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world.
