The Smokejumper Visitor Center provides a unique and interactive opportunity to learn about this demanding and important occupation. The free tour of the facility includes a visit to the Smokejumper loft, the ready room, and the National Smokejumper memorial. There is also a gift shop and museum, which includes a fire lookout tower originally built in 1930. During the summer, Smokejumper aircraft are also present, and visitors may even see Smokejumpers dispatched to a fire.

The Caras Park Pavilion, located in the heart of Downtown Missoula on the Clark Fork River, is available for public and private events. The Pavilion can accommodate events ranging from a dinner party for 150 to a large concert for 3,500. It’s a perfect location for festivals and fundraisers, weddings and reunions. A Carousel for Missoula is one of the first fully hand-carved carousels to be built in the United States since the Great Depression. From little more than dreams, hard work and love, a carousel was created by hundreds of volunteers. The Carousel has 38 horses and two chariots. The nation's oldest and most influential conservation group continues its second century of service in the heart of the Rockies in Missoula, Montana.
