Formerly known as the Chevrolet Theatre, this venue has come a long way from its roots as a theatre-in-the-round in an alfalfa field. If you're in Meriden, don’t miss a visit to The Mark Twain House & Museum in nearby Hartford. This estate was home to Samuel Clemens—aka Mark Twain—and his family from 1874 to 1891. The house was designed by architect Edward Tuckerman Potter in the Victorian Gothic style. This 25-room mansion is where Twain wrote his most famous books, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." Today, you can take a tour through the house and learn all about Twain's life and work.

Dunkin' Park, formerly known as Dunkin' Donuts Park, is a baseball stadium in nearby Hartford, Connecticut. It's home to the Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies Major League Baseball team. The stadium seats 6,121 screaming fans and offers a picnic area, delicious ballpark bites, and luxury suites. The stadium can also be rented out for events, meetings, and conferences, so make sure to see what other events are going on when you’re in the area.

The Hartford Yard Goats are a Minor League Baseball team based in Hartford, Connecticut. Affectionately dubbed the "Yard Goats," the team competes in the Eastern League as the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. They play their home games at Dunkin' Park.
