The Marion Popcorn Festival is held on the streets of downtown Marion Ohio on the Thursday, Friday & Saturday following Labor Day each September. The festival features Free Entertainment each night, Parade on Thursday evening and Rides all the time.

The Little Brown Jug is the most prestigious 3-year-old pacing race in America. The Jug is held the third Thursday September and is seen by more people than any other harness race. This is the first pace of the Harness Racing Triple Crown.

The Harding Home and Memorial are within 2 miles of each other and the Hotel. Private tours can be arranged for the home and the Memorial is available for viewing anytime. The Harding Memorial is located at the corner of Delaware Ave & Vernon Heigts Blvd. The Harding home is the second most popular home of all the presidential homes still available to tour.

The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium is one of the world's best zoos. The Columbus Zoo is the zoo for which Jack Hanna is associated. The zoo features a variety of exhibits and events throughout the year.

Home of Jack Nicklaus' PGA Memorial Tournament each June. The Muirfield Course and Tournament are located in Dublin Ohio as part of the Golf Community built by Jack Nicklaus as his gift to Columbus and Central Ohio. Muirfield is a private golf community however there are a number of great golf courses in the area to play. Take the time to go the tournament and also get in a few rounds of golf while in the area.

Location of the Marion County Fair and many events throughout the year. Site of the Marion County Fair each July. The Huber Museum is located at the fairgrounds and is open each Saturday and available for private tours.

The Palace Theatre hosts a variety of entertainment including musical and theatrical performances by the local theater group, educational programs, and movie viewings. In addition there is a winter series featuring some of the hreat acts from the past fifty years.

Sharrock Vintard produes over 2000 gallons of wine per year. Started in 1971 the family owned vineyard is now managed by the originator's grandson, who will give you a winemaking tour.

More than 100 trains pass by Union Station every day. The museum showcases an impressive collection of memorabilia and the AC Tower, which was once the main switching facility for the Erie Railroad, Marion Division. Phone ahead for hours and or private tours.
