The first carousel was manufactured in 1896 by Gustav Dentzel of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Cass County Carousel is registered on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Cass County Dentzel Carousel is open from 6-9 p.m. on weekdays and 1-9 p.m. on weekends through Labor Day. The train runs friday, Saturday and Sunday only.
