Known locally for it's small sandy beach area, swimming, boating, jet skiing and dining, Johnson Lake is a must see for visitors to this area. Lake Shore Marina provides boat and jet ski rentals as well as excellent dining. Lake Shore Marina Restaurant & Lounge is closed on Mondays.

Just east of Kearney NE is the Archway Museum which spans over Interstate 80. This is a must see for children and adults.

18 Hole Public course opened for play in 1993 and designed by David Gill and Steven Halberg. The course is operated by the city of Kearney. From the back tees the course plays 6,485 yards and from the front tees the course plays 4,967 yards. Par is 72. This course is laid out on the bluffs of the Platte River Valley with water challenges and sand bunkers strategically placed.

Located off I-80 exit 222 in Cozad is the Robert Henri Museum. Learn the history of this world famous artist and enjoy the town that his family founded in 1873. Open May through September, Tuesdays through Saturdays. Open Sundays, Mondays and Holidays by appointment only.

Off of road 433 & 749, south of Lexington. Viewing facility is well marked. Facility is open Dec. 26th through mid February, closed on Jan. 1st. Open to groups during the week by appt only.

Has 5 baseball/softball fields, 4 large soccer fields, indoor batting complex, and more. Operated by city of Lexington. Located on the west side of Lexington on 13th street. Contact the city directly for information on usage.
