Considered the worlds most famous golf course in the area. Home of The Players Championship, birthplace ot the TPC network and perhaps the worlds most famous golf course. The notorious par-three, 17th hole features an island green that makes or breaks many a PGA's pro's round. The corse is ranked the number 2 golf course in Florida Golf Digest and it ranks consistenly among the Golf Digest's top 50 golf courses in the country.

The Avenue's in Jacksonville's premier family shopping destination. The Avenues is a multi level shopping center that offers over 1.1 million square feet of shopping with 5 department stores including Belk, Forever 21, Dillard's, JC Penney and Sears plus more than 150 additional exciting stores.

Currently one of the most impressive stadiums in the country. The 76,000 seat complex has a state of the art sound system, 46 permanent concession stands and the countries largest Sony Jumbotron scoreboard. In addition to acting as home base to the Jaguars the stadium also hosts big name touring acts as well as the anual Gator Bowl, NCAA Football games and Monster Truck Shows.

Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens feature over 2000 animals over 110 acres. It is also home to seasonal and other specialty events. Great for children of all ages as well as animal lovers. Nicknamed MOHS this museum overlooks the St. Johns River and is near the downtown area. Great fun and an education experience for the whole family, it comes with its own planetarium. Exhibits include marine life, native florida wildlife, local history, and the Holezone, full of interactive games and simulator rides. Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary provides a safe loving forever home for endangered big cats and to educate the public of their plight in wild and captivity. They do not breed sell or trade any of these animals. Our current residents include tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, artic foxes and coatimundis.Florida's longest running sanctuary. Metropolitan Park, located along the beautiful St. Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville, is the First Coast's premier recreational facility.
