Mount Bohemia is our next closest ski hill. It is approximately 45 minutes north. This ski hill has the longest runs, with the highest vertical and the deepest powder in the midwest! Portage Lake Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole public golf course with tree-lined fairways and rolling greens. Hungarian Falls Nature Area, protected by the Keweenaw Land Trust, is a stunning series of cascading waterfalls set in a rugged gorge.
