Located on the corner of 9th St. and Highway 6 lies the newly remodeled Hearne Depot. Hearne's arrow-shaped, turn-of-the-century railroad depot has been transformed into a visitors center and museum. The museum features paintings and photographs of Hearne when the railroad was at its height. The musuem also exhibits artifacts of Camp Hearne.

The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum focuses on the life of the 41st President of the United States. The main exhibit trace of the life of George H.W. Bush from his childhood during the 1920s through his service in World War II. It later focuses on his public life as a businessman, U.S. Congressman, his Vice-Presidency, and finally his Presidency. Many artifacts and life scale models are located throughout the exhibits that enhance the life of President George H.W. Bush.

Enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, bike rides, and boating at Lake Bryan. The lake features numerous campsites and RV hook-ups.
