The John J. Mames Oral History Department is an ongoing project at the Holocaust Memorial Center Library Archive and has recorded the testimonies of Holocaust survivors, liberators, veterans who served in the European Theatre of War, other witnesses and rescuers since the early 1980s. The HMC has amassed a collection of more than 700 audio and video interviews.

The Glen Oaks Golf Course features an 18-hole, Par 70 course with challenging Par 3 holes crossing streams, with rolling terrain. The 122-acre course includes a 1920s English-style stone clubhouse designated as a Michigan Historical Building. Tee times are taken 30 months in advance.

Riley Skate Park was designed by some of the best skate park designers in the country, Site Design Group and Grindline. The 29,000 square foot all-concrete park is the area's premier hotspot for skateboarders and in-line skaters. The unique design provides elements for skateboarders/in-line skaters of all skill levels, and spectators the opportunity to view the activity in a comfortable park like setting, for free.

Cranbrook Art Museum opened in its current Eliel Saarinen-designed building in 1942. Today, it presents original exhibitions and educational programming on modern and contemporary architecture, art, crafts, and design. In 2011, the Museum underwent a $22 million restoration and expansion, creating a state-of-the-art Collections Wing that makes its entire 6,000+ collection visible—and accessible—to students, scholars, and visitors.

Shenandoah Country Club, located in prestigious West Bloomfield, Michigan is home to a golf course designed by Jerry Matthews. The par-72 course offers three sets of tees measuring 6,493 yards from the back tees. Shenandoah is known for its rolling terrain, exceptionally manicured fairways and tees, and a natural, scenic charm. The signature mark of the golf course would be the greens which are large in size and offer speed, undulation and are challenging to players of various skill levels.

Open since 1990, Marvin has been collecting vintage coin operated machines since 1960. He contstantly adds more, packing things tighter, shifting around games and kid rides. It is listed in the World's Almanac's top 100 most usual museums in the US.

Fun in the great outdoors — There’s nothing like a day at The Adventure Park at West Bloomfield! Located in the trees adjacent to the JCC you will find our amazing “aerial forest park.” This is THE Michigan Adventure Park to experience “adventure in the trees” on your own or with friends, family and parties. Ages five to adult.
