The Drayton Valley Thunder is a junior ice hockey team in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The Thunder are members of the Canadian Junior Hockey League and are eligible to compete for the Doyle Cup and National Junior A Championship.

This 18-hole golf course offers something for everyone, from beginner to pro. A multi-stall driving range, practice putting greens, a fully stocked pro shop, and a fully licensed restaurant makes this course worth the visit.

The Omniplex encompasses three multi-purpose recreation facilities, all under one roof! It is an ideal location for trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, recreational events and agricultural shows. Expect the best at the Drayton Valley Omniplex. The entire facility is fully accessible to the disabled.

Completely run by volunteers, the Drayton Valley Brazeau Snow Club is the perfect place to learn how to ski. The T-Bar and three rope-tows lead to a bunny hill and 12 groomed runs. The chalet has a concession and also a rental shop.

Evergreen Shooting Club is a membership only range that is open year round. It is an outdoor facility with target up to 400 yards away.

The Drayton Valley Horse Club maintains around 80 km of trails next to the Pembina River. The staging area has campsites, box corrals and tie stalls. Contact them to learn more about this community of horse lovers.
