Adventure Recreation Center

This state-of-the-art West Campus recreation facility boasts four hardwood basketball courts (converts to five volleyball courts), two indoor turf fields, free weights, strength training machines, and cardio equipment. There are also day-use locker and individual shower facilities, and the building is fully accessible and air-conditioned. The ARC also houses the Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC).

The Short North Arts District

The Short North is heavily populated with art galleries, specialty shops, pubs, nightclubs, and coffee houses. Most of its tightly packed brick buildings date from at least the early 20th century, with traditional storefronts along High Street (often with brightly painted murals on their side walls), and old apartment buildings and rowhouses and newer condominium developments in the surrounding blocks.

The Arena District

The Arena District is a 75-acre (300,000 m2), mixed-use urban infill, master planned development located in downtown Columbus. It features a variety of restaurants, office space, entertainment venues and residencies. The neighborhood centers around Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL and the former home of the Columbus Destroyers of the AFL. The district is also the site of Huntington Park, the new home for the Triple-A Columbus Clippers.
