Cologne's Rheinenergie Stadium is the home ground of 1. FC Köln, which plays its matches here in front of up to 50,000 spectators. The stadium is also the venue for major concerts by national and international bands and stars as well as other cultural events. The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Herbert Grönemeyer, Helene Fischer and Die Toten Hosen, among others, have performed at open-air concerts here.

The Musical Dome is located on Breslauer Platz in the immediate vicinity of Cologne Central Station and Cologne Cathedral. Its glowing blue tent roof is an eye-catcher on the Rhine promenade, especially at night. The heart of the blue tent is a large theater hall with a stalls and balcony that can accommodate 1,740 people. The award-winning Broadway musical “Moulin Rouge!” has been performed in the Musical Dome since October 2022.
