Centralia Outlets is located at the midway between Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR , in Lewis County, the “Gateway” to two of the state’s major attractions. Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helen’s. Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helen’s National Volcanic Monument are easily accessed from Highway 12 in the east end of Lewis County. Centralia and Chehalis cities have historic downtown areas, museums, vintage homes, steam train rides and more than 350 antique dealers in the three antique malls and nearly 20 shops.

A ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad is a pleasant, scenic, and relaxing journey back in time. Gaze at the scenery as the nine-mile, former Milwaukee Road track winds through the scenic upper Chehalis River valley, crossing over several wooden trestles and passing many historic farms.

Imagine an entire downtown listed on the National Register of Historic Places and you have found Centralia. Restored early-1900s buildings now house City Hall, an antiques mall, and a railroad depot in this century-old district where stagecoaches once trod. Tower Avenue is lined with antique shops, a landmark hotel, historic theater, eateries plus a weekly farmers' market. The historic district of Centrailia includes 67 commercial buildings in 12 square blocks.

A grand but neglected Elk's Lodge is transformed into a centerpiece for downtown Centralia's revival. Centralia is located halfway between Portland, OR and Seattle, WA on I-5. From the factory outlets at Exit 82, head east one and a half miles to the downtown antique district. Turn right at Pearl Street to find Centralia Square offering five specialized antique shops, the Berry Fields Cafe and 135 antique dealers

The Lewis County Historical Museum is housed in the historic, 1912 turn of the century, Northern Pacific Railway Depot. Operated by the Lewis County Historical Society, it is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Lewis County, Washington

With the Northwest's singular natural icon as its centerpiece, the Mt. Rainier region is comprised of some 2,800 square miles including one national park. An active volcano that last erupted in 1854, Mt. Rainier dominates the landscape, rising some three miles from the lowlands and towering a mile and a half above the surrounding mountains. It is 14,411 feet tall -- the tallest singular peak in the lower 48 states. It has the largest glacial system in the lower 48 states with 25 named glaciers.

Mt St Helens is an active volcano, that violently erupted in 1980, after over a century of dormancy. The 1980 explosion blew off 3,000 feet of elevation and destroyed surrounding forests. After the eruption, 85,000 acres were preserved as the Mt St Helens National Volcanic Monument, where one can witness nature's healing process firsthand. Peer into a crater that still houses a smoking, throbbing lava dome. Following a brief period of dormancy, the volcano resumed activity in 2004.
