Centralia Outlets is located at the midway between Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR , in Lewis County, the “Gateway” to two of the state’s major attractions. Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helen’s. Mt. Mount Rainer National Park

With the Northwest's singular natural icon as its centerpiece, the Mt. Rainier region is comprised of some 2,800 square miles including one national park. An active volcano that last erupted in 1854, Mt. Rainier dominates the landscape, rising some three miles from the lowlands and towering a mile and a half above the surrounding mountains. It is 14,411 feet tall -- the tallest singular peak in the lower 48 states. It has the largest glacial system in the lower 48 states with 25 named glaciers.

Mt. Saint Helens

Mt St Helens is an active volcano, that violently erupted in 1980, after over a century of dormancy. The 1980 explosion blew off 3,000 feet of elevation and destroyed surrounding forests. After the eruption, 85,000 acres were preserved as the Mt St Helens National Volcanic Monument, where one can witness nature's healing process firsthand. Peer into a crater that still houses a smoking, throbbing lava dome. Following a brief period of dormancy, the volcano resumed activity in 2004.
