Produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, the Charleston Farmers Market is available each Saturday from 8am-2pm in the beautiful Marion Square, between King and Meeting Streets at the edge of Calhoun Street in the Upper King Street Design District. The Farmers Market offers an abundance of the freshest local produce, shrimp, plants, herbs as well as numerous artisans. The Folly Beach County Park is located at the east end of the island and includes outdoor showers, restrooms, picnic areas and more. The Isle of Palms County Park is conveniently located at the foot of the Isle of Palms Connector. This park offers over 430 parking spaces, a dunes boardwalk, showers, restrooms, a sand volleyball court, and a children’s play area. Lifeguards are on duty seasonally.
