The Mount St. Helens Visitor Center opened its doors to the public a few years after the monumental eruption of Mount St. Helens. Functioning as a gateway to the mountain, over 30 miles away, our goal is to educate visitors on the historical significance of the landscape before and during the eruption. We also focus on the resulting impact on nearby ecosystems. Our vantage point offers a view of the Western slope of the mountain, visible from both our center and walking trail.

Lacamas Lake is a small lake in Clark County, Washington. It is a popular place to fish and water ski for locals from Vancouver, Camas and Washougal. It connects to Round Lake via a channel that runs under the SR 500 bridge on the southeast side of the lake.

Located just 15 minutes from the Portland airport, we are Vancouver's oldest vineyard and winery. Settled in 1903, our family has been working this land for five generations. The Loafing Shed Tasting Room is open year round. It’s a wonderful place to meet family and friends - outside when the weather is nice or by the fire when it’s chilly. The Salmon Creek Sports Association Complex is home of the Vancouver Girls’ Softball Association. VGSA has been serving the youth of SW Washington since 1963. Since its inception, VGSA has been dedicated to providing a place for young women to develop self-confidence and a sense of team effort through the game of fast pitch softball. This sports complex features four softball fields.

This county-owned property is leased to the Harmony Sports Association, which manages operations of the site. The property features multiple youth sports fields, which are used by Cascade Little League and the Washington Timbers.

The Port of Camas/Washougal is a port on the Columbia River serving the communities of Camas and Washougal, Washington in Clark County, Washington. The port was established in 1935 by a vote of the people in a special election and today encompasses the port, a marina, Grove Field airport and an industrial park.

The Port of Vancouver USA, founded in 1912, is a deep-water port located in Vancouver, Washington along the Columbia River. The port contains five terminals, along with the largest mobile harbor cranes in North America which are typically used to unload wind energy equipment.

Mt. Hood was first discovered by European explorers in 1792. Then it was discovered again by Lewis and Clark in 1805. When Lewis and Clark explored the area, they initially called the mountain, “Falls Mountain” and had written that they could see it from 37 miles away. It’s also interesting to note that the Multnomah natives always referred to Mt. Hood as “Wy’east”. Many descendants of the Multnomah natives still call the great mountain, “Wy’east” to this day.
