Homestead National Monument of America is a unit of the National Park System located four miles west of Beatrice, NE. The monument interprets the impacts of the Homestead Act of 1862 on the United States and the world. Over 100 acres of restored tallgrass prairie can be explored on 2.5 miles of walking trails. The Homestead Education Center features farm implement exhibits and an 1867 log cabin, and the Freeman School building is a reminder of the importance of public education on the frontier.

Beatrice Speedway IMCA season racing runs from April through October. Teh Speedway features IMCA Modified, Pro Am, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks & IMCA Hobby Stock.

The Beatraice Country club features a scenic 18 hole course, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker, driving range, lessons, rental clubs, rental carts & pull carts. The Country Club also offers a swimming pool with slide, The Beatrice Country Club is a Nebraska Golf Association Member and offers a Pro-Shop. Spikes are not allowed on the course. The Country Club accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Hidden Acres Golf Course offers 18 competitive holes of golf in a peaceful country setting.

The Beatrice Water park features a swimming pool, two waterslides, diving boards and kiddie pool. The Park is managed by the City Department of Public Properties and is opened Memorial Day ot Labor Day. The water park of Beatrice promises fun for the whole family.

Our community college offers lots of courses on many different subjects.

The main feature of the park is a star with its five points symbolizing the five branches of military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. At each point of the star flies the flag representing its branch of service. The center of the star plaza provides the stage for the United States flag. Park benches, large majestic trees and bronze statues are also a great focal point.
