Hazret Sultan Mosque

The Hazret Sultan, as one of the largest mosque in Asia, occupies the area of 11 ha, able to house up to 10,000 people. The mosque premises area amounts to 17.8 ha and includes tabernacles, a hall for wedding ceremonies, rooms for Koran reading and having lessons for seminarians, as well as a cloakroom and аn ablution room. Thus, this is a fully functional mosque corresponding to all modern requirements. The mosque dome is 51 meters in height and 28 meters in diameter.

Khan Shatyr Entertainment Centre

An architectural miracle from the vision of Norman Foster, Khan Shatyr is the largest architectural project in Central Asia.Khan Shatyr is considered to be the first lifestyle center to bring together world-class entertainment and retail under one roof. The building opened on July 6, 2010 to coincide with the 12th anniversary of Kazakhstan's capital. Khan Shatyr is 150m high with a 127,000sqm transparent rooftop and 6 stores.

Palace of Peace and Reconciliation

The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation is a symbol of friendship, unity and peace in Kazakhstan. The author of the project is a famous British architect Lord Norman Robert Foster. The Pyramid has a pure form, 62 meters high and 62 meters base. The top of the pyramid is decorated with a work of art the artist Brian Clarke. There is a picture of 130 doves that symbolize 130 nationalities living in Kazakhstan. There are the Opera Hall with 1302 seats, party hall Atrium, Hall “Besyk”, exhibition.

National Museum of Kazakhstan

The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the youngest and largest museum in Central Asia. The museum has been created in the framework of the "Cultural Heritage" State Program on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The museum building is an eye catcher with its unusual external form. The largest unique museum complex has an area of 74,000 sq.m. and consists of seven blocks with a variable number of storeys to the ninth floor.

The State Theatre of Opera and Ballet

Situated on the left bank of the River Ishim, the Astana Opera House is striking in its splendor. The building itself is 64,000 square metres. Of these, about 3,000 square metres is the stage area. The Astana Opera House impresses not only by its scale, but also by its architectural refinement. It is constructed on the basis of the best classical architectural traditions and entwined therein, are Kazakh national motifs. The Main Hall of the theatre is designed for 1,250 people.
