PNG Field/ Altoona Curve

Peoples Natural Gas Field, which opened in 1999 is home to the minor league Altoona Curve baseball team an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The stadium is set against the backdrop of the beautiful Allegheny Mountains and the oldest wooden roller coaster at the adjacent Lakemont Park. The ballpark is modeled after a railroad roundhouse tying in the railroad industry which was a major foundation of the Altoona heritage which is still present to this day. Fun for the whole family!
