Minerva Scenic Railway was put into operation in 2004 to preserve and display transportation history through the operation of a demonstration railroad. It currently has 2 diesel locomotives, 6 passenger cars, 5 cabooses, 2 baggage cars & a blacksmith car. The passenger equipment acquired by STEAM is considered to be restorable to operating condition with the intention of running them on the excursion trains. That includes the cabooses that used to be at the end of every freight train.
