The largest state park in Arkansas is just located 14 mile north near Wynne, Ar. This park has 27 hole golf, 2 lakes, tennis courts,softball fields, horseback riding, fishing,swimming, playgrounds for the kids and lots more.

Village Creek Golf Club, located in Newport, is a 18 hole Private course. From the back tees, the course plays over 6480 yards with a slope of 99.

The St. Francis County Museum is filled with artifacts, photographs, documents, and more, all of which paint a vivid picture of our rich history.

Mississippi River State Park provides quality access to the St. Francis National Forest and offers visitors endless adventures where the Mississippi River, Crowley’s Ridge and the Arkansas Delta meet. Visitors can explore everything from hardwood forests to the sandy shores of the Mississippi River while enjoying three lakes, the All American Great River Road and Crowley's Ridge Parkway (Both are National Scenic Byways), four hiking trails and two recreational areas.

This National Historic Landmark preserves a 17-acre Mississippian Period American Indian village located here from A.D. 1000 to 1550. Archeologists at this research station also uncovered evidence that Hernando de Soto visited this site in 1541. Park interpreters offer tours, educational programs, and special events throughout the year.

Conveniently located just off of I-40 in Forrest City, the EACC Fine Arts Center is an important component of the cultural landscape of Eastern Arkansas. Since the Center’s opening in April of 2010, patrons and visitors have discovered a unique facility designed to meet the diverse needs of both the performing arts and the community.
