Paricutin Volcano

The volcano Paricutín is the youngest volcano in the world. He was born on February 20, 1943. It is considered one of the world's natural wonders. You can make tours on horseback or walking, also a viewpoint where you can photograph the volcano and its surroundings, on the slopes of the volcano are some restaurants how offer traditional food.

Zirahuen Lake

Zirahuén (in Purepecha means "place of deep water). You can admire the lake surrounded by wooden houses known as Trojes. Zirahuen have tourist services including lodges and restaurants are traded trout and whitefish.

The narrowest house of the world

The world's narrowest house, built in 1985, measures 1.40 by 7.70 meters and is decorated with bright colors. Has recently become popular for appearing in the Guinness Book of Records.

The Route of Don Vasco include then main church of state where visitors can see the entire estate left by Vasco Quiroga, from the architecture of the area to the forests, lakes and mountains of the region. You can also enjoy the legends, festivals and traditions typical of Michoacán.

San Pedro Zacan

It is located in the Volcanic Tranversal Mountain Range, locally knwon as Meseta Purepecha and Uruapan Mountain Range. For centuries Zacan had remainded relatively isolated from the near cities. Located on the mountain side of the Paricutiin, it was one of the twons affected by the volcano eruption in 1943.

Ziracuaretiro

Ziracuaretiro (meaning "place where the heat and start ending the cold"), is an attractive place in terms of their nature and conducive to the cultivation of fruit. Within Ziracuaretiro can find the archaeological zone of Zirimicuaro, the parish of San Miguel Archangel, and some resorts such as the Spa "Caracha" and Spa "Rincon de las Flores."

Capacuaro

It is in the middle of the Meseta Purepecha; it has the San Juan Bautista Parish that dates from XVI century, where it shows its antique off'in a mixed line with a two way roof.

The Tzararacua

About 7 miles from Uruapan, in the river Cupatitzio, forms an impressive waterfall 60 meters high called The Tzaráracua. This recreation center is framed by lush vegetation, where you can enjoy pleasant walks on foot or horseback.

Morelia Capital of State

Almost all of Morelia’s notable sites lie in its historic center, due to its history. This historic center is roughly equivalent to the original layout of the city when it was founded in 1541, and most of this layout has survived intact to the present day. The Cathedral’s official name is Cathedral of the Divine Savior of Morelia. Since it was built over the 17th and 18th century, elements of Neoclassical, Herreresque and Baroque architecture can be seen in the building.

Tingambato, Archaeological Zone

In the south side of the village an archaelogical zone is found; it is named Tnganio, This site shows two contruction stages, prior to the ones founded by the Tarascos. The firts one could be placed from 450 to 600 A.D. in which the populating and edification of the ceremonial center initiated; and a setcond one from 600 to 900 A.D. with a strong Teotihuacan influence in the architecture, identified by presence of the panel and slope, and the ball game.
