The Garden offers 79 acres of beautiful horticultural display, including a 14 acre Japanese strolling garden, Henry Shaw's original 1850 estate home, and one of the worlds largest collections of rare and endangered orchids.

It is one of the largest urban parks in the United States. At 1,293 acres, it is approximately 500 acres larger than Central Park in New York.
