Located in the centre of Changning District within walking distance or short taxi ride from the Hotel. Previously private garden owned by H Fogg, British property developer, It was renamed in honour of Dr. Sun Yat-sen in 1944.

The most famous landmark in Jing'an District from which the district obtained its name. The oldest shrine in city was constructed in 247 time of Wu Kingdom during Three Kingdoms more than 1,000 years before official beginning of Shanghai in 1292.

Xintiandi is shopping, eating & entertainment district composed of restored traditional shikumen ("stone gate") houses on narrow alleys, some adjoining houses which now serve as book stores, cafes and restaurants, with indoor and outdoor seatings.

People's Square is a large public square adjacent to Nanjing Road in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, China. People's Square is the site of Shanghai's municipal government headquarter building, and is used as the standard reference point for measurement of distance in the Shanghai municipality.

Shanghai Grand Theater is located on the west of the People's Square, the center of Shanghai. Designed by well-known French architect Jean Marie Charpentier, it is in concise and graceful geometrical shape as the crown-like white arc-shaped roof stretching to the blue sky. On the top of the theater are outdoor theaters and a mid-air garden, which are in the shape of a treasure bowl, symbolizing the broad-mindedness of Shanghai in attracting the cultural art of the world.

Nanjing Road is the main shopping street of Shanghai, China, and is one of the world's busiest shopping streets.[1] Today's Nanjing Road comprises two sections, Nanjing Road East and Nanjing Road West. In some contexts, "Nanjing Road" refers only to what was pre-1945 Nanjing Road, today's Nanjing Road East, which is largely pedestrianised. Prior to 1949, the road's English name was rendered "Nanking Road" using the standard romanization of the time.

Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. Daily open to the public.

The French Concession is the area of Shanghai once designated for the French, consisting of today's Luwan and Xuhui Districts. Luwan's Huaihai Road is a busy shopping street and is also home to both Xintiandi and Tian Zi Fang. Xuhui is also ever popular for tourists and is home to Shanghai Stadium. The tree-lined avenues and their many Tudor mansions in the area still retain an air of the "Paris of the East".

At present, it is the world's largest single building and exhibition complex, integrating exhibition, conference, office and commercial services. It is located in the west of the core area of Hongqiao Business District, Shanghai. Including 400,000 square meters is an indoor exhibition hall and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space, and various types of exhibitions are often held.

The Xujiahui Cathedral is the largest Catholic church in Shanghai with a long history. It has a high status among the Chinese adherents. The church was established in 1904. Its formal name is St. Ignacious Cathedral.

The Bund is an area of Huangpu District in central Shanghai, People's Republic of China. The area centres on a section of Zhongshan Road within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, facing Pudong, in the eastern part of Huangpu District. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. The Bund is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Shanghai.

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The tower, surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge in the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge in the southwest, creates a picture of 'twin dragons playing with pearls'. The entire scene is a photographic jewel that excites the imagination and attracts thousands of visitors year-round.
