Standing within 200 acres of parkland overlooking historic Parramatta, Old Government House is Australia's oldest public building. For seven decades it was the 'country' residence of the first 10 Governors of the colony, including Governor and Mrs Macquarie who, from 1810 to 1821, preferred the clean air and space of rural Parramatta to the unsanitary and crime ridden streets of Sydney Town.

Rosehill Gardens. The home of the Golden Slipper, Rosehill Racecourse is a picturesque scene filled with fun and excitement for the family. There is a regular program of social events and races available from spring through to autumn.

Westfield's Parramatta - Australia's third largest shopping centre, it boasts over 360 specialty stores, 10 department stores, a cinema complex, and numerous restaurants.

Riverside Theatre - Located on the banks of the Parramatta River, Riverside Theatre is nestled in the midst of the Church street restaurant precinct. The theatre has a variety of events all year.

Riverside Walk - This evocative Art Walk meanders 800 metres along the Parramatta River and tells a rich history of the city from an Indigenous perspective.
