Throughout the year, a varied program of activities takes place in La Plaza that attracts audiences of all ages. Food court, groceries, and many more and just walking distance.
Allows the visitor to observe transiting vessels from a distance of only a few meters and learn first hand about the various operations of the Panama Canal, the history of its construction, its participation in the world markets, and the importance of its watershed. Entrance fee is of $15 per adult and $10 per child.
The causeway has many restaurants and shops. The Museum of Biodoversity is also located here.. It was built with the rock extracted when the Panama Canal was being built between 1904 to 1914. The road extends 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) out into the Pacific Ocean, linking the mainland with the islands of Naos, Perico and Flamenco.

At the handikraft market you can purchase a large variety of items made by hand by the Cuna Indians.
