The Zekelman Holocaust Center

Step into Michigan’s largest Holocaust Museum at the Zekelman Holocaust Center. This important museum tells the story of the lives impacted by the Holocaust. Visit the center every Sunday to hear a local Holocaust survivor tell their story. See the Kindertransport Memory Quilts made by survivors sent to Great Britain for safety. View a WWII-era boxcar used to deport Jewish people to concentration camps. This must-see museum is a labor of love carefully curated by the Jewish community in Detroit.

Little Caesars Arena

Built in 2017, Little Caesars Arena is home to the NBA’s Detroit Pistons and the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings. Catch a basketball game in the evening and a hockey game the next afternoon. The arena’s transition crew transforms the floor from a basketball court to an ice rink and back again with ease.
