Visitors to WHOI's Ocean Science Exhibit Center will learn about the Institution's ocean science research and the vessels and tools developed by WHOI engineers and scientists for use in that research.

The Shining Sea Bike Path is a paved 10.7 mile, adventurous pathway that weaves through a natural setting from woodlands, marsh, swamp and salt ponds to seascape across an ancient coastal plane. The Shining Sea is the only bikeway on Cape Cod that runs along the seashore. The bike path extends from Woods Hole to North Falmouth. An entrance to Shining Sea Bike Path is 1 mile from Holiday Inn Falmouth/ Cape Cod.

There are several Great Beaches near Holiday Inn Falmouth. Menahaunt; Old Silver and Surf Drive are open to non residents for a small parking fee, which varies from $10-$20 per vehicle. The following amenities are at the beaches mentioned above - Food, Lifeguards, Restrooms, Parking and Handicap Accessible. The Front Desk has directions available for all the Beachs in the Falmouth area.
