Fish Creek Falls

These breathtaking falls are a beautiful and picturesque landmark. Many locals have chosen this spot for weddings, and it is one of the most popular areas to be photographed in the Valley. Facilities include a parking lot, a picnic area and a 50-yard trail leading to the falls. The trail continues past the falls for about five miles, ending at Long Lake. It's a great hike or snowshoe trek for the adventurous. $7 Parking Fee.

Strawberry Park Hot Springs

Old Town Hot Springs, one of Colorado’s premier hot springs, is an historic hot spring and family-friendly recreation facility in the heart of downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Old Town Hot Springs has been a site for recreation and rejuvenation in this community for over 100 years because of the gift of the Heart Spring, the source of all the healing mineral water in our eight pools.

Yampa River Botanic Park

Beginning in 1995 the Yampa River Botanic Park sprang from a flat horse pasture to a six acre gem of ponds, berms, and over 50 gardens. It is one of the jewels of Northwest Colorado and one of a handful of botanic gardens in the State. The Park is on land donated to the City of Steamboat Springs. The facility is directed by a board of interested citizens who oversee the Park's operations and raise funds through memberships, donations, sponsorships and grants. The Park receives no tax dollars.

Stagecoach Lake State Park

Stagecoach Lake, NE is a State Recreation Area located 1 mile south of Hickman, NE and resting on the south tributary of Hickman Branch. The 120-acre reservoir has two fishing piers (handicapped accessible), 50 camp sites (30 of which include electrical hook-ups), a boat ramp, and picnic facilities. A State Park Permit is required for entry.

Haymaker Golf Course

Located in the lush Yampa Valley Region of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Haymaker Golf Course is a Championship Golf Course Gem. Since being established in 1964, The Steamboat Golf Club has remained a treasure in The Yampa Valley. Alpine Slide

Located at Howelson Hill downtown. Described as a long cement slide you race down the side of the mountain on. Fun for all ages.

Gondola Ride

Open in the summer and winter seasons. Great for photo taking and dining transportation.
