The source of inspiration and name for the unique restaurant concept was the party culture and lifestyle of Sausalitos, a multicultural city near San Francisco. The combination of carefree partying, Californian lifestyle and the multiculture with a strongly spread Californian and Mexican cuisine tipped the scales for the choice of the name and the philosophy of Sausalitos.
