Great room and breakfast

Great room and breakfast. Went in April and the place was not crowded. Has a big indoor swimming pool as well as an outside pool (not yet opened for the season). Great for families with kids. We [More] got upgraded to a loft room which has a king size bed downstairs and upstairs sitting area and extra bathroom with a balcony that overlooks the rooftop. Very unique and special. Breakfast was good and Beth our waitress is super nice and gave us great recommendations of places to visit in the Cape. [Less]

Make sure to get an even numbered room, odds are very noisy

Typical HIE, clean and comfortable. One big problem is the road noise that can be awful if you are in the odd numbered rooms. This is Route 44, a major road and there is a traffic light outside the [More] hotel. At all hours of the night you hear motorcycles revving engines and noisy cars who think they have to accelerate to 60 mph in as short a time as possible. We were switched to an even numbered room and it was much quieter. Also, it's a nit but none of the USB ports next to the bed worked. They were all off center and you couldn't get your connector in. Lastly, there is but one plug in the bathroom and they put the soap dispenser directly above it so if you have a directional plug it might not have enough room. Overall, I'd stay here again but would insist on an even numbered room. [Less]

I stayed at the Holiday Inn for Thanksgiving. I had great service. My room was clean and my bathroom was clean. They restocked my towels. The ice maker however was broken when I went to get a drink. [More] That was my only issue. I had a great stay and would reccomend this hotel! [Less]
