The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1936 by Bronislaw Huberman and its inaugural concert, on 26 December 1936, was conducted by Arturo Toscanini. The IPO plays in subscription series, including a special annotated Youth Concert Series and special concerts, The orchestra has hosted most of the world's greatest conductors and soloists, and it also does much to develop Israeli artists and young talents from Israel and abroad.

The Perfomring Arts Center, located in Tel Aviv's cultural complex, is home to the New Israeli Opera Company and the Israeli Ballet The Performing Arts Center is one of Tel Aviv's leading cultural institutes. Throughout the year, the arts center serves as a stage for Israeli dance, especially Israel's National Ballet, and for Opera performances of the New Israeli Opera Company.

The Tel Aviv Museum of Art is Israel’s leading museum of modern and contemporary art, and home to one of the world’s largest collections of Israeli art. Since its founding in 1932, the Museum has served as one of Tel Aviv’s major cultural hubs, displaying a vibrant mix of permanent collections and temporary exhibitions in a wide variety of fields – painting, sculpture, prints and drawings, photography, video, architecture and design.

A lovely small flea market out in the small old streets of Jaffa. Very colorful, Lots of old special things to buy aside some new stuff. Prices are quite cheap and huggling is a custom. The Flea Market is lovely at all hours of the day, but the late morning is a good time to go. Friday is the busiest day of the week, when the merchants take their stock out onto the streets for all to see. Weekdays are less crowded and hectic, but boast a charming, more laid-back ambience.

The Association was founded in 1998. The objectives of the Association are to initiate, organize, manage and produce cultural events in the field of music generally and opera in particular. The Ben Gurion House is an historic house museum in Tel Aviv, in which between 1931-1968 served as an additional residence for Israel's 1st Defense and Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion, and his family

Tel Aviv's Carmel market (Shuk Ha'Carmel) was set up in 1920, since than the market is active, noisy and full of live. It is the biggest market in Tel-Aviv and people from all the near cities reach the place for their buying. This is an open air market. The market is located in the center of Tel-Aviv along Carmel Street and the near by alleys.
