Parque Nacional Los Tres Ojos is a natural wonder featuring a series of three limestone caves, each with a crystal-clear freshwater lagoon, known as "eyes." Located just outside Santo Domingo, this open-air cave system offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore subterranean lakes surrounded by lush vegetation and ancient rock formations, providing a serene escape into nature.

The city's Las Americas International Speed Racing Course where competitions are held several times a year attracting regional racers. In 2005, the Miller Grand-AM Cup circuit race was held there. This city is home to the V Centenario Horse Race Track, with capacity for up to 15,000 race enthusiasts. A perfect view of the Caribbean can be seen while watching the thoroughbreds speed around the one mile course.

Enjoy concerts, ballet, opera and theatrical performances in this grand building. This pair of auditoriums, built in 1973, features the Sala Principal, the larger of the two, which has a capacity of 1,600 persons, and the smaller auditorium, Sala Ravelo, which holds up to 175 persons. Sala Ravelo is mainly used for conferences and small speeches, but the larger auditorium features Santo Domingo's top dance, music, and dramatic performers.

Tip: Many international and national singers join this important event such as Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Juan Luis Guerra, among others. Last concert was on July 2010. The idea of the Festival came about in 1995, when Dominican National Brewery chose to make an event to reward the loyalty of the Dominican people toward Cerveza Presidente beer. The Festival is celebrated each two years for three days in the month of October.

If you love baseball, you will enjoy our baseball stadium. This place is a lot of fun, especially for Dominicans and those who love baseball. This is an unforgettable experience and a chance to enjoy our music, our food and our baseball. Tourists in Santo Domingo in December and January are in for a treat as many Dominican MLB greats join their local teams in the closing of the regular season in December and the finals in January. From the old to the new, Santo Domingo takes visitors on a trip through time with its dozens of national museums celebrating all aspects of Dominican life, past and present. Many of these museums are located in the Plaza de la Cultura, a large park area where visitors can stroll easily from one museum to another. They include The Museum of Dominican Man, the Museum of Modern Art, the National Museum of History and Geography, and the National Museum of Natural History.

The Dominican's National Aquarium is a scientific and educational facility exhibiting marine life in one of the best aquariums in the Caribbean. Its star attractions are a clear plexiglass sea tunnel and the orphaned manatee Tamaury. The National Aquarium is a monument to life underwater. Opened in 1990 by President Joaquin Balaguer. The National Aquarium is located at Spain Avenue, east of Santo Domingo.
