Beyond an iconic shopping destination, West Edmonton Mall is an endless adventure. Let's face it: kids aren't always up for spending the whole day shopping. Why not have them stop and play while you shop?

Whoa, Cool Trick!

Upstairs at West 49, they can fly through awesome products from brands like Vans, Hurley, Billabong, Hawk, and West Beach. Downstairs, they can wear off pent-up energy in a unique way—a theatre converted into a cool skatepark for boarding and blading enthusiasts to test their skills or enjoy watching peers attempt new tricks.

From Bowling to Arcades

With the competitive edge stirred up at the statepark, a stop at Ed's Rec Room is in order. A space we only dreamed of as kids is at their feet: from ten-pin bowling to billiards to a retro arcade.

Whether they take in the arcades at Ed's or down the way at New Play, the kids can jump from game-to-game, looking for their next challenge. From dance-offs to hoops to pinball machines, these arcades offer a variety of activities not-to-be-forgotten in today's digital world. Why fight with the kids all day long when there's an endless playground to entertain them? A Multi-Play Pass helps save a few dollars and keep the kids relatively cash-free.

Take the Crystal Labyrinth to Dragon's Tale

Have the kids take a stroll through Crystal Labyrinth's maze of mirrors on their way to a hole-in-one. Perhaps a selfie contest of their funny faces and odd shapes?

Imagine the joyful laughter as the kids battle each other to protect the dragons and putt to slay the villains under the blacklight on Dragon's Tale's 18-hole mini course.

Enjoy Marine Life

Home to over 100 species of fish, the Sea Life Caverns features a creature for everyone: fish, sharks, sea turtles, penguins, reptiles, and amphibians. Meanwhile, check the show schedule upstairs at Sea Lion's Rock, and have the kids plan their activities around catching the four playful sea lions perform tricks for treats.

Have go-getter kids who would want to feed the sea turtles or volunteer at a sea lion's show? Ask about the Friends with Fins or Ocean's Alive Adventures. They can also get up close to the sea lions and penguins during a Sea Lion Encounter, Penguins on Parade, or become a Trainer for the Day.

Surf a Tsunami

Why not meet the kids back in the middle of the mall at the World Waterpark? Relax into the evening splashing down a few slides, bouncing along the river on an inner-tube, or frolicking amongst the waves. Over at Tsunami, daring and adventure-seeking kids can learn to surf.
