A lot of potential

My stay at this hotel was an average stay. I’ve stayed at better Holiday Inns. I chose this one based on the reviews being very high, however I was a bit disappointed in what I saw while there. The staff was ok. No real issues. The room however needed some attention. There were stains in the carpet, on the bed liner, the bathtub had permanent dirt stains in it. I could tell it had been painted recently because the paint didn’t match. There is still wallpaper in the bathroom, which is a universal no go as far as I’m concerned. There just needs to be an increased attention to detail in this hotel. The effort to be the best isn’t embedded in the mindset of the leadership there and it is shown in the lack of effort put into making it a great place to stay.

Website shows omelets at breakfast. No omelets during the weekend. Had a cheese omelet on Monday. Nice & fluffy. Had turkey and pork sausage too. Breakfast area very clean, even had hand sanitizer. Wish breakfast hours could be extended to 1030. Loved the Dove (shampoo, conditioner, handwash, and lotion) products in the room. Conditioner bottle was empty though. Has frig & microwave which is also a plus. Limited TV channels.

Cold water the entire stay (shower)

I did report that my water was cold. I was advise by clerk that Friday morning that maintenance will be in at 9am. No one came by or call my room to resolve. I was in and out all day due to engagement that I had in that town. I book here often as a IHG member & was not satisfied. I called twice & was told GM was gone for that day. Also, I called today and was transferred to a ringing phone that hung up after so many rings.

This is actually my first time being at the Duncanville Dallas, Holiday Inn Express, I am from the East Coast and this is my first time being in Dallas, Texas, the experience was phenomenal and I plan on coming back in December, God willing

The property was very neat and clean and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The front desk staff, the housekeeping staff and the staff serving breakfast were all very friendly and greeted us with a smile.

I have been and holiday INN/IHG member since 2001 and this was the worst experience I have ever had! The morning and afternoon staff were extremely rude and unprofessional!

A clean, quiet, comfortable room

The parking lot is well lit and secure. The check in was easy and fast. The room was quiet comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was very good. It was a relaxing stay.

Comfortable bed

Comfortable bed, but the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.

Room needed a thorough cleaning. Pool was closed. Hot tub was filthy. Breakfast was TERRIBLE.
