Whidbey Naval Air Station is the home of the Growler EA-18G. Several large companies such as Boeing, L3 Communications, Northrup Grumman, Raytheon, Helms Brisco have offices convieniently located on the base.
You must have an Enhanced Drivers Licence and/or Military ID to gain entry to NAS Whidbey.
Deception Pass Bridge
This bridge is the entrance to Whidbey Island from the North. The bridge can also be crossed on foot to be able to photograph the breathtaking scenery. Deception Pass Park and beaches beneath the bridge are a beachcombers delight
Fort Casey State Park
Historic Fort with parks, bunkers, picnic areas and scenic water views. Admiralty Lighthouse is also open for seasonal tours.
Downtown Coupeville
Historic Waterfront town with shops and restaurants. Famous for Penn Cove Mussels and the Mussel Festival. Step back in time when you stroll along the waterfront. Coupeville Wharf is a photographer's paradise with shops and a quaint cafe on the Wharf.

Ferry To San Juan Islands
The beautiful drive to Anacortes and the San Juan Ferry is definitely worth the trip alone but the ferry ride is breathtaking and one that you will not forget.
Ferry To Port Townsend

The ferry departs from Keystone near Fort Casey. You will enjoy scenic views even from the parking area of the Ferry. This is a short ferry ride to the antique Seaport Town of Port Townsend. Please make sure and call for reservations as this ferry fills quickly in the summer months. During the winter months please make sure and call for Ferry updates as the weather can alter or cancel ferry schedules.
Windjammer Park
The Windjammer Park of Oak Harbor has a large park with playgrounds and a swimming lagoon for summertime fun. Windjammer Park is located on the beach and the place to be during the summer for festivals and just relaxing with a picnic near the beach.
Guemes Island

Guemes Island is a tiny scenic Island just minutes from Anacortes. The Island is only accessible by boat or a small auto ferry. Anderson Store is a short walk from the ferry and has great souvenirs, clam chowder and snacks.

Whidbey Island Marathon Annual Event
