Museum of Northwest Colorado

The Museum of Northwest Colorado began as the Moffat County Museum in 1964. In 1991 it opened at its new location at 590 Yampa Avenue in the former Colorado State Armory. A Cowboy Gunfighter Collection is currently housed within the museum. "Frontier" accurately reflects our ranching, farming and homesteading background plus the fact that some of the "Wild Bunch's" stomping grounds are located in Moffat County. Craig is located approximately 90 miles north of I-70 and 100 miles south of I-80.

Wyman Living History Museum

The Wyman Museum was founded by Lou Wyman. The dream started in 1949 in Elk Springs, Colorado. While Lou was filling up a water barrel for his sheep herders, he noticed an abandoned 1932 Lincoln. He paid $15.00 for it and has been collecting ever since.The museum opened in August of 2006. The Wyman family has gathered an absolutely unique collection from throughout the west and beyond, giving museum guests an experience spanning one hundred years of American life, ingenuity and advancement.

Yampa Valley Golf Club

Moffat County Ice Arena

Moffat County Parks & Rec Ice Arena. Open October - March. Open Skating is offered 7 days per week. Monday - Thursday 3 to 4:30 PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1:00 to 2:30 and 2:45 to 4:15. For additional open skating times please call the ice arena.

Dinosaur National Monument

Sand Wash Basin Horse Loop

Two different roads to watch the wild horses and view scenic Moffat county . Road is gravel and not maintained year round so caution is advised during "mud season".
