Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam located on the Colorado River, on the border between the states of Arizona and Nevada in the United States. Built during the Great Depression era, between 1931 and 1936, it was named after President Herbert Hoover. The dam was constructed to control the flow of the Colorado River, provide irrigation water to the surrounding areas, and generate hydroelectric power. It is one of the largest dams in the world, standing at 726 feet tall and 1,244 feet long.

Allegiant Stadium, adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, is a multi-purpose stadium and it is the home stadium of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Rebels college football team. It also hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, and conventions.
